Following O'Sensei's maxim, "Aikido is Budo" we study authentic, effective Aikido. We are honored to have Sensei Walther von Krenner as our Chief Instructor. He is Hachi-Dan (8th Degree Black Belt) in Aikido with over 50 years of experience, including study with O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba, Dosshu Kisshomaru Ueshiba and Koichi Tohei Sensei. He has taught seminars all over the United States and was inducted into the USMA Martial Arts Hall of Fame as Aikido Grandmaster in 2000. 

Sensei von Krenner has taught in the beautiful Flathead Valley of Montana since 1980.

His latest book on Aikido was released in March of 2016.

Aikido (合気道) is a Japanese martial art developed at the beginning of the 20th century by O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba as a synthesis of his martial studies, philosophy, and religious beliefs. Its movements are based on Aikijitsu and are related to both Judo and Jiu Jitsu.
